What APIS Coordinates
International cancer care requires medical records, hospital communication, scheduling, and practical arrangements across countries.
APIS coordinates the Korea-side process, including:
- Initial case intake and organization of the available records
- Identification of relevant Korean hospitals and departments
- Confirmation of required medical records and imaging
- Submission of documents to the hospital
- Communication during the hospital review process
- Communication of the hospital’s review result and additional requirements
- Requesting the hospital-provided cost estimate and schedule
- Coordination of consultations, appointments, and treatment arrangements
- Interpretation, local logistics, record transfer, and medical-visa processing when required
The hospital determines whether the case can proceed and provides the treatment plan, estimate, and schedule. APIS coordinates the process and communicates the hospital’s response.
