What APIS Coordinates

International cancer care requires medical records, hospital communication, scheduling, and practical arrangements across countries.

APIS coordinates the Korea-side process, including:

  • Initial case intake and organization of the available records
  • Identification of relevant Korean hospitals and departments
  • Confirmation of required medical records and imaging
  • Submission of documents to the hospital
  • Communication during the hospital review process
  • Communication of the hospital’s review result and additional requirements
  • Requesting the hospital-provided cost estimate and schedule
  • Coordination of consultations, appointments, and treatment arrangements
  • Interpretation, local logistics, record transfer, and medical-visa processing when required

The hospital determines whether the case can proceed and provides the treatment plan, estimate, and schedule. APIS coordinates the process and communicates the hospital’s response.
