What Information Do Korean Hospitals Need for Review?
Before reviewing an international case, Korean hospitals usually need information to understand the diagnosis, treatment history, and current condition of the patient.
For an initial inquiry, commonly requested information may include:
- Physician’s note or medical summary, including diagnosis and treatment history
- Relevant pathology and test results
- Passport copy for patient identification
If the case proceeds to further hospital review, CT, MRI, or PET-CT imaging files in DICOM format may be requested.
Additional documents may be requested depending on the clinical situation and the hospital’s review process.
Providing documents for review does not imply treatment eligibility or acceptance. Final treatment decisions are determined solely by the treating hospitals and physicians.
